Founder
In 1991, Mr. William Yim established Sanwa Technologies Limited, with a primary focus on delivering advanced manufacturing technology solutions across a diverse array of sectors, including microelectronics, opto-mechatronics, biomedical devices, aerospace, automotive, and construction industries. Mr. Yim specializes in providing comprehensive consultancy services, contract process development, turnkey manufacturing solutions, and cutting-edge research services.
An active industrialist, technologist, and inventor, Mr. Yim possesses extensive expertise in electronics, optics, precision mechanics, and advanced manufacturing technologies. With numerous inventions in electronics and manufacturing processes, he holds over 80 patents and has been honored with multiple design and invention awards.
Dedicated to the advancement of the manufacturing industry and technology, Mr. Yim currently serves as the President of the Hong Kong Critical Components Manufacturers Association and as Vice Chairman of various industry and technology associations. Additionally, he acts as an advisor to various organizations and academic institutions.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Yim is deeply committed to social services. He collaborates with several NGOs to contribute to community services, with a primary focus on youth development and elderly care initiatives.
